WORLD FREESTYLE SKATEBOARD ASSOCIATION
The nature and scope of the WFSA is to address the needs of freestyle skateboarders as both artists and individuals within the global community.
The existing branding not only has no motion in it but also is very boring and does not signify the youth or the individualistic ideas of the sport.
Everything is static and scattered.
The form is inspired by the 2 major aspects of the sport, the board and the band-aid.
This hero depicts the practice and injuries one had to go through to learn skateboarding.
To be used for all body text and messages and phrases, varied weights throughout the typeface can be used to denote hierarchy and other aesthetic purposes.
To be used rarely for promotional purposes with or without motion graphics.
GIFs made for the upliftment of the face of the sport keeping in mind the vibe of the term — Freestyle — such slogans will mainly try to tackle the mindset of the people and clear doubts about the sport in turn spreading awareness about it to gain more audience, making the sport more and more popular, one GIF at a time.
ANIMATION TECHNIQUE: DIRTY MASKING
Unique animation style to work as a brand asset, also to give it a feel of as if the words were spray painted in one go.
Motion inspired by the actual motion of the skateboards on the ramps.
